Saturday, June 8th & Sunday, June 9th, 2013
On the grounds of the Staten Island Boys Football League
(Travis Ave at the corner of South Ave)
Gates Open: Noon thru 7:30pm
There is something for everyone at our Festival with Local & International Artists playing Traditional Irish & Pub music live on 2 stages, 5 Pipe and Drum Bands, "The Tinker’s Shopping Village”, a huge array of refreshments and the Traditional Irish High Mass, it looks like # 15 is lining up to be our biggest and best yet.
Now, it is with tremendous pride that we make the following announcement:
His Eminence Timothy, Cardinal Dolan will be the Celebrant of the Mass this year. The Mass, a part of the Fair, will start at 5:00pm on Saturday. Note: Some activities will be suspended just before and during Mass, but will resume in full afterwards.
Once again, The Staten Island Pipes & Drums will kick off the Opening Ceremonies at Noon on both days, and our lovely Fair Hostesses: Erin E. Gray & Fiona Molloy (a minstrel girl in her own right) will be introducing you to some of the hottest Irish Music performers from all over the globe. (Click on the Entertainers and Schedule tabs to see who is playing and when)
“Land of Leprechauns”: a play center for the wee ones. (Entry to “Land of Leprechauns” requires an additionalcharge at admission)
“The Tinker’s Shopping Village”: A huge array of Irish imports and Irish themed gifts.
We also have some of the best Festival food on the East Coast, with local vendors and some traveling from the Jersey Shore and Hunter Mountain.
